NEXT MONTH IS CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!! :) Hooray, isn't that super exciting? It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Mission life = Fabulous! It's seriously the most rewarding thing ever.
We had MLC (mission leadership council) on Friday, and it was so very good! The spirit was so strong, and we have so much stuff to bring to our zone. I love being a zone leader, because you get to help out and love and pray for and be friends with the missionaries. I have been so very humbled and blessed. I have true faith in my Savior that the callings we receive are totally inspired, and meant for us to learn, grow and serve! It's the best. We shouldn't be called the zone leaders, but the zone servants! Lose yourself in the service of others!
Halloween was tons of fun! We gathered as a zone at a church building and watched Cokeville Miracle. It was such a good movie! We all dressed up and played games too, and it was the best Halloween ever :)
I went on exchanges this week with one of the greenies in the zone. He's been struggling with the same kind of problems that I struggled with at the beginning of my mission. It was amazing to see how humble he was, and willing to do the Lords will. It was so weird to be sharing experiences from my mission, and things that helped me. I have a firm testimony that faith requires action. If we believe in Christ, we must act in Christ!
I have no doubt in my mind that this is exactly where I am supposed to be! I know the Lord answers every single one of my prayers! I have felt his undeniable love countless times, and strive to feel it daily! Missionary work is darn hard. But that's ok. Because you can only be successful when you recognize that this mission isn't about you. It's about them, and Him.
Love,
Elder Otto
