Words from Elder Eli Frazier in Peru

"Hola! I am now in peru! its been a crazy few days so far! after the six hour flight we got to the lima peru temple at like 11-12 then went to bed and woke up at 3 to travel to the church where we had meetings all day and met our new companions. my companions name is elder gardner and he is from louisiana, he is very exellent with spanish and im grateful for him. we live in a cobblestone house as youll see in the spictures if this computer will work with my camera. its only me and him in our casa, today i get to email and then from here on itll be mondays. i get exactly an hour each monday. theres dogs everywhere! oh and i just ate lunch, it was good but i stopped eating it when i saw the chicken talons in it. they have a soda here called inca cola which is what i like. but the mission is starting to be strict and now we are only suppose to drink out of bottles and eat packaged foods but its all good. the driving is crazy but better than mexico in my opinion.
My firrsst area is Pisco,( there are 12 different areas) it is next to the ocean, though i have not yet seen it. we already have an appt set up with a man named Ruben who loves reading and said hed read the libro de mormon. we try to contact all the people we can. I HAVE HOT WATER in my house which is sweet! my house is small but it could be way worse. i have a little fridge a sink a shower and a toilet so i got it pretty good. for breakfast i had bread and ham and some juice. the juice here is the bommmb! we do have cell phones and also little dvd players so we can share videos with people.

So heres a story that was interesting and weird. we see this man using a hose in the middle of the plaza to drink and shower with (which is disgusting water) and then left and somehow that man was next to us when we started walking. he looked at us and shook our hands. But as we kept walking he started just flipping people off! i had no clue what his problem was but just chose certain people he liked and shook thier hands and then flipped everyone else off! THeres a lot of dogs if i didnt already say that, and i havent really eaten too much, i feel like i wont be gaining too much weight. Its winter here but its not that cold, it gets a little cold at night but i love it. perfect weather.

Well thats all for now! Im so excited to be here! though i can only give my testimony and few other things, i know i will learn the language and be talking just like them real soon. i love you all and hope all is well."
