Words from Elder Jared Anderson in Brazil

"Well this week was great. The spirit is so strong here. I wish everyone had the opportunity that i have right now. We were privileged enough to have two more baptisms this week by the Grace of God. The mother and other son of our baptism last week. The mother in the beginning was very against the thought that the Gospel had been restored and that Joseph Smith was a prophet. She literally changed after watching her sons baptism. Her heart was so open and she accepted and KNEW everything was true. It was so amazing to see their family nearly united ( one more son of 17). Now I have felt that i should share something that many of you probably already know. While studying a little in the Doctrine and Covenants this week i read once again section 4, which is said by Prophet Joseph Fielding Smith (In a rough translation of Portuguese, Correct me if i am wrong!) `To contain sufficient depth and truth that a man could spend a lifetime studying these verses and still not comprehend it to fullest`. I would especially like to focus on the phrase, `and if you have a desire to serve God, ye are called to the work....`. Please please please do not shrug off these impressions of the Holy Ghost. i KNOW many of us are having them. We have been called to the work, each and everyone of us, not just for a mission, but for every aspect of serving our Father in Heaven, whether it may be visiting a less-active member, or participating fully in our Church and ward callings. We are ALL called to the work, I do not believe that you could be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in these latter days and NOT have a desire to serve! That is why we are here, why we were saved, to bring our brothers and sister back through a work much greater work than we can comprehend, a `Marvelous work´. Please Please PLEASE, heed to the counsel of the Holy Ghost, it makes life so much easier, i love you all so very very much. Thank you for all your Love and support."
