Words from Elder Brandon Day in Oklahoma

"Hope everyone had a great new year! Its been really cold and windy here in Oklahoma, luckily we have a car! But this week hasn't been too exciting, the holidays have made it hard to visit with people because everyone is so busy! But one of the things we've been working on is how we can help our members do missionary work and to not be a burden to them. We've seen a huge success! We had testimony meeting yesterday and all the members that got up spoke about how great the missionaries are and were encouraging everyone to invite us over to visit with them. Its been a huge blessing to us because we have about 35 active members and they all have so many different callings and responsibilities. The last thing we want to do is burn them out. So we've seen huge success because they are all enjoying the things we share with them and are seeking ways that we can help them as missionaries. But I'm glad the holidays are over because now we can focus on our work and it will be easier to find and get in with people! Have a great week everyone!"
