Well hello y'all! I guess my weekly email didn't go through last week
so sorry about that! I will repent I promise! Haha but how is
everybody doing??:) I bet your getting exited to get out of school and
get a break! I don't blame you.
So the last few weeks over here in Winchester have been surprisingly
warm.. I really don't like it. Haha idk why it's 75 degrees in the
middle of December. It's crazy! That's explains Tennessee for you! Lol
this last week we has a big Zone Conference and that was super fun. We
did a huge white elephant gift exchange. It's pretty much where the
missionaries find junk in the closets of their apartments and they use
that as a gift(well that's what I did) haha but just when a huge body
of missionaries are in one room you can just feel the spirit
radiating. Especially during this time of year when we celebrate the
birth of our savior Jesus Christ. I have really enjoyed my new area
and that gives me hope to keep pushing on. I know as we turn to the
lord he will comfort us. I have felt his love especially as a
missionary because it's not easy sometimes. But just keep pushing on
and we will be blessed. I hope we look at Christmas as a time to
remember the birth of our savior and enjoy the company of family and
friends. Because that's what it's really all about.
So idk why, but I always have something crazy happen to me and I like
sharing it with you each week so here it goes. Yesterday after church
we were helping clean up to put the funeral home back to how we found
it and I guess the owner of the building(the nicest people you will
ever meet) came up to us and said "did y'all look inside the embalming
room?" And I was like no... So we went and checked it out and there
was a body in there! He didn't tell us that part! And it was so weird.
Haha I just wasn't the same for the rest of the day. Only on your
mission when you see a lot of deceased people:) but I love it. I try
to make the best of it because that's all you can do. Anyways I hope
y'all have a good week and good luck on your semester finals! Here is
a picture of my district reminding you that a savior is born:) and
then us being dumb! Like always!
