Words from Elder Garrett Hollembeak in West Virginia

I'm doing really good, it was the holiday on Monday so we're
a little late emailing but we're doing great. We've been doing a lot
of service lately, one of things we're working on is scraping paint
off of one of our investigator's houses so if you have any tips pass
them along. The work here is going forward. I hope
you guys are all doing well and are safe and healthy.
On a different note we have been discussion having
a meeting with all of the people who have been baptized within the
last five years to make sure they have a home teacher, a calling, the
new member lessons, and if they are inactive, and a good chunk of them
are, what has happened and where we can improve on retention. One of
the things we've noticed is that very few recent converts receive a
patriarchal blessing and there is a lot of under shepherding that
doesn't always happen after someone gets baptized. We're hoping that
getting more recent converts a patriarchal blessing will help them
stay active when they can have a vision of all of the great things to
come. What does the St. Johns stake do for retention of recent
converts? Thank you for everything!  Have a great week!
Love, Elder Hollembeak
