Buenas! Como estan todos?
Well, this week was super good :) I dont have too much time to wrtie so im sorry this will be short again. Well, i am loving my new area. We live right by the temple and the chapel is on the temple grounds so i get to walk by the temple everyday. It has been such a blessing for me. Even being on the street walking by it, i cna feel the spirit so strong. Our area is huge!! But i hvae good news!! Our house has running, warm water!! For the first time in my mission, i am not bathing out of a bucket with cold water! We have a real shower haha Its been pretty nice.. but i have to say, i miss my buckets. Also, we have a washing machine and a dryer!!! I forget what that was like! Not having to take hours washing by hand. haha Its amazing! :) I am very grateful for those things.
Well, we had an investigator get baptized this week. Her name is Gladys. She has been investigating the church for about 2 years now. And one day she just decided that it was time for her to get baptized. I have only known her for about 2 weeks, but it was such a tender mercy to be apart of her baptism. She looked absolutetly beautiful and was glowing with happiness! :) After she was baptized, she told us she felt very content and didn´t know why she hadn´t done it sooner. She said that she felt soo happy. It was such a sweet experience. In church yesterday, she was soo excited. And everyone commented that they have never seen her that happy. I know with my whole heart that this amazing gospel can make our lives full of joy. I love to see the difference it makes in others lives. And i love to be able to feel of the love the Savior has for all of God´s children.
Well folks, thats it for now. But i love this misison. It is soo hard. But every trial, every rejection, every moment is worth it. I have learned soo much. And i love it. I love this gospel with all that i have. I am so grateful to be a missionary and to proclaim this amazing message to the people here. Thanks for all you do and for your love and support!! Have such an incredible week!!
