Words from Elder Eli Frazier in Peru

"Hey everyone! Another week of learning so many things! Id say it was a very humbling week of a lot work and not so much seeing the fruits of our labor. But we work this month to see the fruits in our next month! We work first with recent converts, then less actives then with new investigators. And heres why,,, we have 169 priesthood holdfers in our ward, and only 15 attend church. We have 1397 priesthood holders in our stake and only 169 attend church and are active! so thats why we focus first on these people.
This past week me and my companion went to the hopsital here to give a member a blessing who is suffering from cancer. The spirit was way strong in the room as we blessed him with comfort that he would no longer suffer.

We also contacted muchas personas this past week. and some of them live way out in the middle of nowhere! behind huge cornfield called chakra. We carried their stuff for them about a mile into these cornfields, where we then got an appt for tuesday to go visit them!

They have all animals here, like all farm animals that ive seen. They have vacas, which are cows, and i went up to tounch a bull and it charged me! these cows dont take any crap from anyone! They are too used to all the dogs messing with them i guess.

Last week we went to Chacos which is like a boardwalk by the beach and it was way pretty as youll see in my pics! And today were going to the beach to play frisbee and other things! And also the other night my companion tried to wrestle me but i easily and quickly got him in a scissors squeeze and made him tap! I still got it hahaha. And my companion has a good 20 pounds on me! haha, THose are the exciting things that happened this week that i can remember! Theres a million more tihngs i learn everyday here but ill give details in two years. hahaha

Love you all!"
